Redesign of the tDF solution: modular central office solution now depth-adjustable

Dortmund/Germany, 29. September 2023. tde has revised its distribution frame solution tDF and designed it to be depth-adjustable: This enables the modular solution to also be suitable for installation situations in which there is too little space available in the patch area or the rear. The network expert has further redesigned the tDF sub rack: The side panels and guide plates of the housing are uniformly powder-coated black. A special design highlight includes the sides of the central fibre optic distributor now being red, tde’s corporate colour. The tDF offers the highest packing density in the smallest of spaces: network technicians can terminate up to 4032 fibres with LC connectors in 46 height units.

Das neue Steckerprogramm HEB von tde zeigt nach einem kompletten Redesign eine deutlich bessere Performance.

For broadcast, industry, defence, oil & gas: new HEB lens connector series for application in harsh environments

Dortmund/Germany, 16. May 2023. tde – trans data elektronik GmbH presents the new HEB connector range, a completely revised lens connector series for a wide range of applications in the broadcast and industrial environment, the oil and gas industry and the defence sector. The connectors are based on Hermaphroditic Expanded Beam (HEB) technology, thus guaranteeing the use of optical data transmission even under very harsh environmental conditions. tde has also optimised the performance of the single- and multimode lens connectors. The HEB connectors in size M (HEB-M) are most common on the market and are also known as HMA, these are fully compatible with each other. They fully comply with the MIL-DTL-83526 standard and can be purchased from 2 to 12 channel versions. Alternatively, lens connectors are available in sizes S, L and XL.

For up to 288 splices: tML fibre optic splice box offers the industry’s highest packing density in one height unit

Dortmund/Germany, 27. March 2023. tde – trans data elektronik GmbH has completely revised the tML master splice box and designed it for an even higher packing density with a compact design and effortless installation: instead of 144 splices in one height unit, 288 splices can now be accommodated. Network technicians can splice these to an indoor or outdoor cable via MPO/MTP pigtails in a space-saving manner, up to 12 times 24. The solution is particularly suitable for application in data centres, telecom or FttX sectors, as well as for campus cabling where either required cable lengths cannot always be determined in advance, or structural conditions do not permit length determination. In combination with the modular cabling systems tML Standard, tML Xtended, tML 24 and MDC or SN modules, companies save valuable space in the rack. The tML fibre optic master splice box can also be used independently of tML system platforms.
